I Have a almost 7 month old baby girl and she seems to almost always have phelgm on her chest. She doesnt have a cold or anything like that, she does cough every now and then as well as sneezes. When I mentioned it to the doc she just said that it is the milk getting caught in the phelgm. But my grandma thinks its an allergy to the milk....hmmm. Do you think it can just be seasonal allergies? Can babies get allergies this early...Please someone let me know if they ever experienced this and what they did or was told. Thanks!

Thank you that is what I thought it could possibly be. You just sometimes need to hear it from another mother to confirm you already proven right gut instinict that us mothers have! again thanks.

my daughter was born with allergies lol

we had her in the room with us at the hospital and right when she got in she sneezed(we had a bouquet of flowers by my bed) lol and ever since then, shes had allergies!

if the doctor has listened to her lungs and chest and doesnt seem worried about then i wouldnt worry. and at that age, there really isnt a lot you can do as far as medicine. if the doctor felt it was concerning he would have said so,diagnosed the problem, and started the baby on a plan to get better.

i would just put a humidifier in the room. that should help.
