hi im almost 22 and have two children,my daughter who is 3 this month and a 4 month old son,the problem is my daughter has really started to play up and ignores everything you ask her or tell her,the tantrums start from half six in the morning and are on n off all day til she goes bed,we have tried the naughty step, shouting, tappin her hand and even sent her to her room till she calms down but nothing is working for us,me and my partner are really tired from it and lucky our little boy is so chilled out and happy all the time,i know all kids have tantrums from time to time but she is just not stopping,i hate going out with her at the moment she is that bad please can anyone help cause i love her and want to take her out knowing i can stop the tantrums before they start, thankyou kirst x

thankyou for your addvice,we thought it was cause we had oscar as she can be so nasty towards him sometimes,i always treat them both at the same time as im not one to by one child and not the other,i think your right with trying to do more with her on her own as even though i do sit and do things with her its not for long as im one of these mums who always feels like there is so much cleaning and ironing to be done but after you pointing it out i think ill try to do some of the cleaning when she has gone bed, thankyou again and ill defo try your way x

Hi my oldest son did this when our baby came along, we had to play and involve him more as he felt left out and we didnt love him anymore, all i can tell you is shouting dont work, when you tell her off and she starts again put her on naughty step tell her why she is there then leave and ignor her. When you buy something new for baby buy her a little something even if its pretty hair clips. Thats all the addivce i can give, hope it helps
