When I had my first son, who turned 4 on april 1st, I thought that I was either crazy or just not built to be a mom. I felt like I couldn't be around him, I wanted him to be taken care of and happy, but I knew that I couldn't be the one to do it and although I didn't want to tell anyone my husband and I are best friends and always had been so he knew something wasn't right with me. We finally called my doctor and told him something just wasn't right and he told me to come in and just be his first appt and we would figure it out. I was lucky to have so much support from my husband, my mom (she kept him his 3rd and 4th night he was home) and my doctor, but some people aren't so lucky. I actually just had my second son in October and had the same thing happen, but I knew what it was and how to fix it. I just sometimes feel like I am the only one around with any of these problems, so it sure would help to hear some of your situations.

I lost my mind when my daughter was born. So I know how u feel. Unlike u I had no help, husband was out of town a lot for work my inlaws wouldn't even take my to doctor appointments.I was given antidepresents but couldn't take them because I was breast feeding. I did get better but even now 9 months down the road I have days where I think that I just can't do it or I am a bad mother. All I can say is get help from those u trust.
