Ihave a two year old too..and im potty training him as well..Umm my litttle one likes using the big toilet so it wasnt hard getting him on..but you can try letting him run around naked and taking him to the potty every 15 min even if he doesnt go pee..you know just have your lil toilet where he can just go sit on it when he has to go..and ask him if he has to pee even if he says no! take him..yeah there MIGHT be some accidents but he'll like it if you give him praise,or even bribe him w/what he likes( a show, toy,u know what will work),he'll get it,and i found that it helped to not put anymore diapers on him, switch to pull-ups and let him know these are for big boys and u know however you want to word it...i hope this was helpful :-)

I agree, have him watch daddy...it helps them understand how that thing works:)lol...I had a teacher tell me once to take 2-3 days where ur not going to be going anywhere and keep him in underware. It might get messy, and u might have a lot of laundry, but after that they will get it. It worked for me. And just make sure to watch for cues. It is a long couple days, but it does the trick.

let him watch dad. i know it sounds gross but it will work. If you can talk dad into it they seem to get it better. PS lots of praise will work

spend one whole day with him being naked in the kitchen and your training potty in the middle of the floor. feed him pretzels, crackers.. things to make him thirsty and have the sippy cups handy. he wont wanna pee all overhimself all day so he may grasp the "i guess ill pee in this potty thing" concept... then have his fave treat handy as a reward everytime he does it! ALL DAY. good luck
