Potty Training?

Any body have any tips on potty training a little girl? My daughter is only 16 months, but our second baby is coming any day now, so I want to get on it as soon as possible so we're not buying 50,000 diapers a month.

my daughter was dry by 2 and i used to let her run around with no nappy on and keep sitting her on the potty. Keep it out so she can see it and keep telling her over and over this is where she goes for a wee wee. You are going to get accidents but thats normal. Read to her or something to keep her interested while shes on the potty and make a massive fuss when she has.She will soon get used to it after a while

give her a go on the potty or toilet and see how she goes. try n put her on when you think she will pee so that she learns what it is for and leave the loo door open when u pee-- it might get her interested if she sees mummy using the toilet....

I put my son on a potty every now n again rite b4 his bath coz I know that he ALWAYS pees in his bath and he loves it when he goes!!! He is 14 mths.
