Im stuck too my girls were potty trained by 2 in a half and my little man is 3 in oct and has no signs of even wanting it he did for a while and would pee and still does sometimes but after i had my baby he went right back not wanting too. She is 9 months now and still no signs when I leave him without a diaper he just poops all over the floor its frustrating and I am trying to be patient I just tell him he should go in the potty but I never scold him everyone says dont push but how old do they get before it should be a push he is almost 3

My daughter is 27 months old and we started potty training today. I think she was ready earlier but I wasn't! It's been a rough day so far, I think she understands what she's supposed to do she just won't do it. It's hard to be super patient but I'm trying! I don't want to scold her, but I keep trying to praise what she's supposed to do.

Our son got a potty for christmas at 16mo, but he wasn't ready then, so I think we really started around your daughters age. He seemed ready for it since he didn't like being in wet diapers. The first week we left his diaper off so he could get to the potty easier. The next week we worked on it with pull-ups. Our son will be 2 next month and he's potty trained in the daytime at least.

My daughter was 2 before I stared to potty train, I found it hard at first because I would have her nappy off in the house then put a nappy on her if I went out and it was just confusing her, so I stayed in the house with her for 3 full days and she got the hang of it and was even dry through the night too.

i have a boy aged 22 months and we have been introducing the potty for a couple of months. we got a potty and left it about in the lounge so he got use to seeing it then i talk to him about have a wee wee on the potty and if he had a wee in his nappy i would tell him to go and sit on the potty, at first he was cry but now he is happy to sit on the potty and we have had 3 wee wees in the potty when we leave him nappy free so we are slowly getting there but we are not in any rush. good luck!

it depends on the child my son is 3 and a half and he has only just started doing poo's on the toilet. we started the whole toilet training thing by reading books talking about the toilet and asking him if he needed to go.if he said no it was ok and if he had an accident we wouldn't make a big fuss and put him on the toilet to see if he needed to do anymore. Something else you could try is putting them on the toilet and then sit there with them and read a book or sing a song but make it a fun experience. hope this helps! lee!xo

all kids a different but with my son i just waited for him to give me signals, like stopping or hiding when he was going then when i saw him doing it i would quickly put him on the potty and when he did it i gave him heaps and heaps of praise
