I'm trying to get my son out of diapers completely but he can't understand the concept of going #2 in the potty . He will only go #1 .

I'm also trying to get my son to stop comming in my bed at night wanting to sleep with mommy. He wants me to go to sleep with when ever he goes to sleep.

I have to say I completely understand. My son insisted on a diaper when he had to do #2, and hide in the corner. The only thing I could do was be patient and try to persude him everytime he had to do #2 to use the potty. It took some time but eventually he gave in. I also think an open door policy when it comes to using the bathroom is a good idea, maybe if he sees you or daddy doing doing it he'll want to be like you.

And the other issue. . . I am still trrying to conquer that one. My daughter refeuses to go to bed without me. It to the point now where at bed time, it's lights out an I'll crawl up on the floor next to her bed till she falls asleep. A trick I learned with my son was when he would nap I'd lay next to him and let him hold my finger to let him know I was there and when he would fall asleep I would replace it with a small toy that he could hold in his hand. Always worked!! Hope this helps
