My son is 2 years and 9 months old and I'm at a complete loss on how to get him potty trained. I've tried just about eveything i've been told to try. We go sit on the potty about every hour but it's hard to go at the exact time considering I also have a 6 week old boy as well. But he sits on it no problem but he pretty much never uses it and he won't tell me when he has to potty. We've been working on it for about a month and a half and he's peed twice and pooped once but at all spaced out times I've tried putting on underwear for 3 days and it didn't seem to bother him at all. He gets one smarty for sitting on the potty and a whole roll for using it. He goes in the br with my husband when he's home and always goes in with me. I've tried fruit loops in the potty but he doesn't seem to get what to do with it. I'm all out of ideas someone please help me

My son is 3 and 3 months and not potty trained yet. There are a lot of us out there. It seems that at the end of the day it's not the most important thing you will have to deal with in your child's life. There are far more important things. Just like he started walking and started talking, he will not be in diapers for the rest of his life, so don't panic, just remind him once in a while until he starts cooperating. Yesterday it looked like my son might agree, so I brought out the potty that was sitting in the closet and he sat on it for the first time. Before, he refused. So, I'm not worrying about this anymore and hoping for the best.
