Ok, My son started peeing on the potty out of the blue the other day. Since then, I have been asking him every 2 hours or so if he has to go and he usually goes. I even tried the method of letting him run naked around the house and putting the potty in the livingroom with use and that was successful, when went on the potty when he had to go also. My question is how do I get him to start telling me when he has to go??

Another question is how do I approach the poop issue?? Any ideas or tips?? Thanks.

There is this AWESOME book called 'How to Potty Train in less than a day' it was my mother's bible when potty training us and my daughter it down, including when to tell me within the first week. The #2 issue resolved itself by the end of week 3. Just takes time with #2 because it kind of scares them a little. That's why they hide. If you watch him and see him going behind furniture or something rush him to the bathroom. If he goes in his undies make him help you clean up the mess. He'll begin to get the idea. Don't get mad or upset with him. It's normal. You'll be doing lots of laundry, but he will get it.
