i agree with brenda yhats how i trained my eldest and is what i'm currently doing with my 2 year old i also allowed them both to come with me when i went t the toilet so they can see that its what grown ups dokids like to think that they are big boys and girls a lot of what they do mimicks grown ups dolls cars play kitchens and toilets they learn from copying others keep a large stock of undies handy and a dissinfectant for the enevitable accidents but like bonnie said he wont use the potty till hes ready if he knows that he wants to go and is just apprehensive about doing it in the potty thats normal dont give up it is hard good luck

one thing i can suggest that i have read in a book somewhere but this had more to do with only pooing in a nappy but might help you. put a nappy on him and get him to stand in the bathroom while he goes in it do this for a few days till hes comfortable with going in the bathroom for the next few days put a nappy on him but get him to sit on the toilet while he goes in the nappy sometimes thats all thats needed sometimes people take it to the next step which is cut a hole in the nappy and let them go to the toilet like that until they are comftable with going with out one it has something to do with feeling something round their bum. Hope this makes sense and helps a bit.

all children develop at diffrent paces around two i think is a good time to start buit its totally up to your lil one individual boddy and when it is ready to ... try jox every morning and persistants keep gopoing at it i know it can be hard he may be worried about somthing i think he should grow out of it ... if he poos on the cement or has accidents try not to take so much notice dont get angry or blame them as it will put him off a bit more but i know its hard lol alll the best of luck ! :)
