I think i may be having some trouble with postpartum depression, but not sure. I have a stressful job as a nurse, full time student, two very precious children, and an almost useless husband. Hard to tell if this is ppd or just stress and anxiety. Some days i cant stand to be with my children, one is fussy one is whinning, this mess that mess. one thing then another. I want to just scream and cry. I feel like i dont spend time with my children enough. when we are together its traveling in the car or bath time bedtime etc. Mainly the time we are together is the trouble/fight times. i get very anxious and sometimes yell at my lil ones even though i know they dont deserve it. Days i have lots of energy and play and dance with the kids and other days i just wanna lay in bed and cry. (of course that is not possible though) Any suggestions to help??? If you need more details i can let ya know tons more! lol

Becoming a Mom changes your entire world and increases your work load ten fold. It is perfectly normal to feel stress and anxiety from that. I started feeling abnormal stress and anxiety in my second trimester of pregnancy when it really hit me that my life was changing forever. I felt like I should be happier then I was so I went and started seeing a social worker. Really all councelors, social workers or theripists are is just people to talk to, to maybe help sort out your emotions and get you feeling back to the way you should. I highly recomend it. If you have insurance you can find someone who is covered - and be picky, find one that works for you... I went through 3 before I found one I liked. Even if you don't have insurance most city/town health departments have free councelors you can go and talk to. Best of luck to you I hope this helps.
