Save money by breastfeeding. Buy diapers in bulk online (I use Amazon), shop for clothing at consignment stores or buy out of season on clearance one size up. I was able to find an infant swing at a consignment shop for $10, the same one I saw in a regular store for $45.

You can certainly try to nurse. There is nothing wrong with giving your baby a few hours to get really hungry (like 3 or so) and then offering only the breast. I would definitely give it a try. Use some lanolin ointment on your nipples after nursing, it helps, big time. Good luck
