I just had my second child 8 months ago. The first one I gained 50lbs and it all dropped off two weeks after birth. With this one, I started at 102lbs (I know, very small) and ended at 172lbs (I know, a lot of weight gain). I am now down to 145lbs and I have never felt better about myself! I'm loving my curves and I now have tons of energy. Focus on how you feel as opposed to what the scale says. Embrace your new body. Fall in love with your new self. Enjoy being a mom--a second time! Good luck!

In my pregnancy I was told I would probably gain 40 or 50 lbs because I was already overweight before I got pregnant. What I did was my first trimester I cut out caffeine and everything you are suppose to when you find out you are pregnant but I also decided I would nit pick at my food. Only eat meats and vegetables and if I ate carbs, like bread rice cookies etc.....then i would only eat half of what I normally ate and I walked a little bit throughout the week. Then once my 2nd trimester came up my appetite was basically small enough to where I couldnt eat normal sized meals anymore.......then once my 3rd trimester started I was only eating my cravings which was mostly watermelon but still I was very careful what I ate and I trained my long as you are eating food your baby is eating as dont have to stuff your face to make sure you both are eating. You are not just eating for two you are eating for you after your pregnancy......

CONGRATZ!!!! Your going to be busy with both children. I wouldn't worry about the weight. Just stay active with your little one and you. Best of luck

First of all... CONGRATS!!

I have only had one child and I'm not pregnant, but what i have said from day 1 and the rule that my friends and I live by.. is DONT WORRY ABOUT THE WEIGHT!! just enjoy your newest little one, and enjoy watching you oldest get protective and loving with your new one. I have friends that are on their 3rd and 4th pregnancy, and they dont worry about losing the weight... they just spend time with their kid(s). Unless your doctor is telling you, that you are at an unhealthy weight then dont worry about it. Stress can sometimes cause even more weight gain. Just keep doing what you always have done.. if you and your little one go for walks everynight before bath and bed then do that *as long as your doctor says its ok) if you take yoga classes then switch to prego yoga... Eat healthy (with some peanut butter & ice cream - that was my biggest craving every once in awhile...) Hope this helps! Congrats again!
