Hey everyone,

my son is almost 13 months old. He loves to play and do all the things little boys his age do. He's almost walking on his own, just needs more confidence there.

But to save my life, I could not get him to drink from a sippy cup. I invested a fortune on giving a variety to choose from in the last 4 months. Straw, soft spout, hard spout, long spout, short spout... Any one you could imagine. He will go all day without a drink unless it comes from his bottle...

Any ideas? I'm getting frustrated.

Thanks for the input!

My MIL introduced a regular cup before the sippy and he loved doing it that way. He wouldn't do the sippy cup either so maybe try a small open top cup (obviously, don't let go of it) & if he likes that, maybe he'll get used to it enough to try the sippy cup...my son loves the munchkin silicone ones now.

i would just keep offering it to him a few times a day, my son is almost 7 months and i give him his while he is sitting in the highchair waiting for me to give him his food. i don't put any formula in it, that way he knows its just a drink and not his meal, but i would just keep offering it to him and i wouldn't give him a bottle anymore, he will drink when he is thursty and if a cup is the only thing that he will get he will eventually drink out of it, he won't let himself get dehydrated.........thats what my sister had to do with her youngest son....after about 6-8 hours, he drank out of the cup and never had another bottle...he was about 12 1/2 months.....and he was also getting 3 regular meals and 2 snacks a day, so its not like they are going to starve without there bottle....good luck hope this helped
