Kylei is 4 1/2 months old and she hasn't even tried to roll over yet. Any suggestions to encourage it. I thought babies roll about 3-4 months? Maybe im just a paranoid mom lol.

Just let her have tummy time a few times a day until the point where she wants to turn over. She will cry but it also motivates her to try to move herself. Some times your baby will be ahead of the crowd and some times they will be a tad behind. My little girl Eve first rolled over when she was 6 weeks old. You have to remember that every baby is different and mums love nothing more than comparing their children and it can make you feel like your baby isn't as good. Your baby is just as good as other mum's babies, your baby may be able to do things that the other mum's babies can't. My little girl has only just started to squeal. It took her a while to get the use of her hands. That's ok though because she's an individual the same as everyone else. If you're still worried about it at five months talk to your mid wife/maternal services. Its so easy to worry with out need, i know i'm prone to it :)

Don't worry, my son didn't roll until he was 6 months, but by 8 months he was crawling and cruising all over the place. You can do things to encourage him - give him lots of tummy time, place toys just out of reach - but babies meet their milestones on their own schedules.

Don't worry, my baby didn't roll until a week after she was 6 months old. Like the others said, lots of tummy time and floor play and she'll do it when she's ready.

Kylei is being an individual and taking her time - lol..... There should be nothing to worry about and all babies are different. I had a daughter walking at 11months, my son walked at 10 months and then my younger daughter waited until she was 14 months. I thought for sure something was wrong and the doc knew there was nothing to worry about and told me so - now that is paranoid, by number three, I should have known better. Tummy time (like Melissa said) seems to be the best bet in encouraging her to roll but don't rush her or yourself.

Good luck!!
