I will be going to my 6 week postpartum appt on thursday and if all goes well, this will be the first time being intimate... post baby. Our daughter's godparents have agreed to babysit for a few hours so we can do dinner and a date... my fiance doesnt even know we have a sitter. I would really like to surprise him a romantic... sexual evening without crossing the line of being a bit tacky and predictable. (i.e. costume lingerie, flower petal walkway, etc.) PLEASE HELP!!

See what kind of things are available in your town. I live in Indianapolis, and we have horse and carriage rides downtown and romantic restaraunts and hotels and things like that. Do some research as if you were a tourist visiting your town (or the nearest town that would have romantic stuff to do) and see if you can at least come up with some ideas.

It depends on what time he will be home, but i would MAKE dinner and be waiting in a sexy little outfit or dress with a smile on your face.Have a drink, or give him one if youre breastfeeding and just enjoy eachothers company and im sure that will lead to the romantic night youre looking for... and make sure you smell amazing lol! Good luck :)

I am definitely making dinner and will have it ready when he wakes up. (he works nights, so he wakes up about 6 pm) and Jamie, I was thinking a cute dress, heels and maybe a new bra and panty set.... nothing too outrageous, since I still dont have my "pre-baby" body back just yet.
and Valerie, I'm sure he will, as we are usually such an intimate couple and have lacked that in our relationship recently.
Carolee: we live in a rather small town in South Texas, but I may look into going for a hike or perhaps even cooking, packing it up, blindfolding him and surprising him with a picnic. =D thank you ladies.
