My baby girl is 6 weeks old, I desperately want to start a routine. I don't know how to create a schedule for her. Can you guys help me with that. My routine nowadays is all over the place.

How long is she giving you between feeds?
I always made sure I set up the night time routine as soon as we got home from the hospital. It was always a bath around 6-7pm then a feed and bed. While they were still having 4 hourly feeds the last feed would be a dream feed around 10-11pm and they would sleep for quite a few hours.
I also had a sleep, play feed routine. When they woke up we would play or have tummy time then I would feed them and they would go back to sleep. As they got older the time between the feeds would grow so you can extend the play time.
The best advice I got was while the baby is sleeping you sleep as well, especially while you are feeding 24 hours. When baby starts sleeping longer at night then you can use 1 of the naptimes to do something else.

Yes Michelle, I want a set routine for feeding, bathing and sleeping time. Right now I just go with what my baby girl wants. With that it seems like I have no time myself. Thanks for replying.

It's very hard getting into a set routine at such a young age. Some babies are great at it and others will do what you want for a few days then turn it on it's head to keep you guessing.

What are you wanting to get into a routine with? Feeding, bathing, sleeping?
