Separation Anxiety, Again?!

My son is two and is showing signs of separation anxiety again. (he was much younger last time) Is this normal? Anyone else have a toddler that is resorting back to crying when mommy has to go to work? It breaks my heart! :(

My 3 year old does it when his dad leaves for work at 4:30 in the morning. And I am a stay at home mom but there are mornings when my husband leaves for work my three year old has a HUGE fit and cries. Even when my husband come home for lunch he does the same thing when its time to husbands home every night and spends a lot of time with both my boys....not sure how to fix it either!

Just a warning: he may go through it again when he starts school. I always told my son, Mommy has to go to work now. You are going to play at Nana's house with Daddy. You have fun and Mommy will see you later. And on my break, I would call my ex husband and ask how he was doing and if he wanted to talk to Mommy. He got used to it so fast when he realized that he was going somewhere and having fun. I hope that you are able to find something that works for you! Good luck!

My son is only 13 1/2 months old but I totally feel for you because his little heart gets broken everytime I leave the room and I find myself in tears many days when I leave for work. They say it's normal but it is absolutely devastating
