Seperated Pelvis, should I go C-Section next time

I'm 27 with 2 children already. I fell down my steps when I was 6 months pregnant with my first one and broke my tailbone and seperated my pelvis. I was in pain the rest of my pregnancy, but the delivery was fabulous, I pushed her out in 7 minutes and only a little pain walking after. My doctor told me it would seperate every time I got pregant. I got pregnant 13 months after my daughter was born and I had a little pain walking towards the end, but had another great deliver, he was out in 10 minutes, but the pain in my pelvis was absolutely horrible, I couldn't get out of bed with out assistance for at least a month, I couldn't even roll over to check on my son in his bassinet. I'm really concerned about getting pregant again and having the same problem, I was thinking that C-section might be an easier solution.

Anyone out there that had vaginal delivery and then went C-section? Or anyone else with a seperated pelvis?

If the pain after your last bub was caused by the delivery against your pelvis then yes a c- section would help you, but if the pain was caused by your carrying the bub to term and having the weight in your pelvis then I don't think a c section will make any difference for you. Have you spoken to your doctor and found out if it would be safe for you to deliver a little early so as to allieviate the last few weeks of pain when your bub grows rapidly? This might be an option for you, as a friend of mine has a displaced disc in her spine and as the bub decends and grows too heavy she is unable to walk, the docs induce her 2 weeks early to prevent the bub getting too big and the the bub decending into the region of her spine that troubles her. It sounds as though the pain from your last bub was caused by the delivery, but I am not an expert and would suggest that you ask a professional- a midwife would also be able to help you with suggestions and info. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find the answers you need...
