I let my son run around naked and that is how I potty trained him. He did have a couple accidents but I just kept reminding him that if he needed to go to pee or poop to go to the potty. Good Luck!!

If you let him run free after a poop you will be fine add that to very frequent potty stops.

I used to let my daughter run around with pants on and sit her on potty every 20 mins that way no poo on carpet but she then realised that when she pooed or did a pee in her pants its wasnt nice,we would empty the remains into the toilet so she knew thats where they would go 3-4 days of this and she was using the toilet. All children are individual though it just takes time to know whats the best way for your child good luck!

When i potty trained my son, he was 1 year 10 months old, this is what i did, i hid the nappies and started using the panties and the pulls ups from day one, then when he peed or pood in the panties i showed that we do both in the potty cos when i left him naked he didnt realise the reason why, so when he wet his panties he realised that its not fun to have a wet panty and in two days he was peeing and pooing in the potty.

oh, and forgot to mention that there's a difference in showing interest in they potty, and knowing when they need a new diaper, and actually knowing when they need to use the potty. KWIM? When he can tell you he has to go, then he's ready, cause then he recognizes how it feels to need to use them potty. Before he can do that, it's pretty pointless. It's more like "mommy training" LOL.

My advice is to wait. I mean, feel free to try it out as the others have stated, in brief increments, but my experience is that they'll go when they're ready. 2 is too young to start potty training seriously in my opinion AND experience. I started at 2 with my 9 year old, and had a year of accidents and torture. He finally just "got it" at 3, and that seems to be the magic number with many of my friends. It's like my mother-in-love says: "He won't go to kindy in a diaper". So try it if you want to see, but don't push it too hard. It makes them revolt against it. Let him be a baby a while longer :)

Thats how I potty trained my daughter..she hated clothes and it was summer so we let her run around naked when she needed to go she went to the potty or went outside and did it on the lawn lol.. we had a few accidents but that is how they learn.

My son is three and what I did was watch his routine and let him be nude just for a short period of time.

Noggin.com has a bunch of toilet training tips, but I would keep a diaper on him and set him on the potty every 20 minutes then give him a prize (my little one will do almost anything for an m&m) if he pees or poos! Boys are hard, you have to be consistent. I cleaned up poo out of the carpet yesterday (main reason for reply) Keep the diaper on!!! LOL

as long as its warm in the room, i cant see a problem with it. Just keep an eye out on him so he doesnt wee on the floor. Both my boys did it all the time

let him run around bare for a few mins. ( 10 to 20 mins u deterimn how long) and ask him if he has to use the potty. make it fun for him. my so liked to run around the house bare when he was younger and he will still try to do it and he is 6 yrs old. lol but also have a man take him in the bathroom with them so he can see how it's done.
