Should I talk to my OB?

I am 31 weeks. The past few weeks I have gotten really bad indigestion and heart burn. For the past 2 days every time I eat I get sick, I get super dizzy and nauseous. The indigestion is so bad I think I am going to throw up every time I move. I have stopped laying down to sleep and tried everything I could to keep from getting sick. I am sure the baby is getting the nutrients he needs but I am getting too sick to move around a lot or even eat. I get too dizzy to do anything. I am not sure if I should tell my OB or if this is normal.

It's normal. I had to have an antacid for the last couple of months with my 3rd because of the heartburn.

I would ask you OB what they recommend though.

I have heard that eating ruffles and lemon aide should help. I talked to my OB he said that when I come in on the 19th than he may put me on Zofran or zantac or Pepcid depending on how bad it is and my blood sugar and stuff.. I am hypoglycemic and so if the lack of eating is effecting my blood sugar really bad then he is going to have to put me on something.

I'd mention any concern you have to your doctor--but it sounds pretty normal. I had awful heartburn/reflux the last 2/3 of my pregnancy and nothing helped. I just ate Tums like candy and tried not to bed directly over for anything to keep the acid from coming up. The day I had my daughter it went away and hasn't been a problem since!

Thank you for your help. I have heard a lot of things to try and keep it under control until I go to the doctor next week!
