Just regular tylenol is fine. low dose meaning like 1 pill or 2. my doc said never go over 4 in a 24 hr period. i took regular tylenol every day in the last two months of pregnancy for leg cramps.

you for sure can take tylenol, not the cold or flu kinds, just the regular one. I had a tooth pulled abour 2 months ago when i was 4 months pregnant and was told by the dentist and my doctor that I can take 2 extra strenght tylenol every 4 hours. With my first pregnancy I hurt my back and was able to take one tylenol every few hours, with my second i just took it for headaches, each time it was approved by doctors(the first time I had it approved by 5 different doctors because I wanted to make absolute sure that I could take them lol)

I think the lowest is 325, but I'm not 100% sure...you can call any pharmacy and ask

My OB perscribed me tylanol 3 when my 2 year old heat butted me and fractured my tooth. I was told that one extra strength tylanol is fine and will not effect the baby at all. Also, you should be able to call labor and delivery at whatever hospital you are delivering at to ask questions.

Well, you are certainly far enough along to take two tablets of regular strength Tylenol. Drink lots of water and sleep!

Good luck!

when i was pregnent i was losing ALOT of sleep cause if hip pain (cause i could only sleep on my side and i have boney hips), back pain and just alot of pain. my midwife told me to take one Tylenol PM right before bed and that was in my last trimester and was 500mg. i was taking one a night and had no problems. i did that for about a week and a half. so i am sure that if you are only taking that low of a dose for a few days to keep your fever down then it should be fine. also keep in mind that a low grade fever is actually a good thing when you are sick cause there is an type of cell (cant remember the name) that helps fight infection and works best when you have a low grade fever (99-100).

They can't give you a simple answer like that?  It doesn't take long to look in your chart to see if you have anything to prohibit you from taking a normal dose!

I was told Regular Tylenol...is that not what they said?

I was just told to take Regular Tylenol...the dose says two tablets, and that is what I took, and my doctor said that is fine. If you are unsure, call your doctor's office back!

I hope you get better soon, being sick while pregnant is the pitts!

And also, congrats!
