About month and half ago I started to get cramp like pain in my lower belly and then it went to my lower back. It has gotten worse to the point that I had to be put onto pain meds just so I could get up and move. The medicine makes it were I am tired all the time but with out it I can't even get out of bed. I am seeing a Dr about this, we have done pregnacy tests that all came back negivtive, urine test to test for infection (negitive again), and now I am waiting for blood work and xrays to come back tommorrow. My husbands works nights so he is sleeping durning the day when we are awake so it seems to be taken a bigger toll on me to keep her happy and not screaming. She is teething right now too and runs all over the house. I am getting scared because everything has come back negitive and the dr is pulling straws out to think about what could be wrong. He says sounds like this but then something new comes around and it sounds like this now. This is the 2nd Dr I have seen about this with the 1st thought I was crazy and wouldn't do any test just said come back in a month if it doesn't go away! I am scared and seeing my husband scared too makes it worse. He is trying to not show it but I can tell anyways. I think I just needed to vent a little, thanks!

Thanks again Whitney, I have thought for a while now that I might have a thyroid problem but never thought of a Vitamin D deficiency!!!

I was also going to suggest that it may be endometriosis and/or ovarian cysts. I have endometriosis very aggressive and have had 5 surgeries for it and have even lost one of my ovaries and tube. I would say you need to get a pelvic ultrasound to see if you have any cysts. Endo can only be diagnosed by surgery, but it really isn't that bad I have done it 5 times for me the worst was when I did not know what was causing my pain. Pregnancy was the best because I had no pain from my endo it is back now though. Good luck and I hope you find out soon what is the cause if it is endo and you wanna talk about it let me know I have been there.

I know you are getting lots of suggestions and you could actually be having multiple things going on, but another thought could be Vitamin D deficiency. That affects your energy, can give you headaches, can make you very weak and hurt. I was recently diagnosed with that and once I was put on a high dose of Vitamin D, certain symptoms went away. Bruising can be a sign of low iron and also have had that, so my specialist had put me also on iron supplements. Anyway, I have also had pain when having intercourse and they believe I do have endometriosis; however, after having my baby the pain was went away for the most part. I have also had irregular periods, some lasting 2 weeks and others 1 day. This could be contributor of my thyroid problems. Just so you know, after pregnancy, it is known that some women can have thyroid problems even if they have not had any before. They call it a type of thyroiditis and that in most cases it eventually goes back to normal. Most doctors can have a hard time diagnosing it because you are tired being a mom, etc. Well, I know I may have just said a lot that will not mean anything, but it's amazing how I have had all your symptoms at some point. Just so you know, a thyroid problem can cause miscarriage one way or infertility the other way.

Endometriosis can affect any area of the abdomen it just depends on how far the metrial lining has spread. However, this sounds like, to me an ovarian tumor. That doesn't mean it's cancer, just means it's a growth on your ovary. Some more info for you:

Thanks everyone for the support I really really needed it...

Don't worry Dominique it isnt' freaking me out and thank you for your suggestion... I have looked into endometrioses too and will be having my yearly done soon and will bring it up. My Dr doesn't think that this is it because it is isn't in the right area of the stomache ( I don't know how he knoes this) but Dr's can be wrong too. My mom had something called Andometrioses and will be looking into that as well.

Whitney, Heidi, and Brittany thanks alot for sharing your story... It does help to know that I am not the only one out there and that you all have been able to still be productive Mammas

My friend had similar symptoms and it too was endometriosis. I had symptoms such as the intense pain in the abdomen, painful intercourse, infertility, irregular periods ect... and it was Polycyctic Ovarian Disease. Those R two things U could mention to UR Dr. If U think they R a possibility.  I hope UR DR. finds whats causing the pain.....Drs. dont know everything...I had a dr tell me that I was crazy too because he couldnt find anything wrong with me. I went to another dr and he didnt give up till he found the cause of my intense pain. I dealt with it for 5 yrs before he found that my uterus and ovaries were covered with Cycts that were very large and I have had a few surgeries because of it. It is very frustrating when a dr. just gives up on U. I hope all goes well...Good luck and God Bless!!!!

I'm sure your doctors have checked it out, but it sounds like problems with your kidneys. It can cause back pain, stomach pain, nausea, and possible other problems if it's not flushing the toxins out of your body like it's supposed too. I would suggest eating mostly friuts and vegy's and maybe even doing something to help flush them out to make sure they aren't at least contributing to the problem. Good Luck! I wish I could help you out more

I don't want to freak you out, but my best friend had these same symptoms and was diagnosed with endrometriosis (or however you spell it). You may want to ask your doctor specifically about that. Hopefully it's nothing quite so serious! Good luck!

I know how you feel. I have three children, ages 5, 3 and 2. I've been sick off and on here lately and have had all kinds of test run as well, and they can't find what's wrong with me either. It makes me so angry. I have numbness and tingling in my face and hands and then I get so dizzy that I can't really move off the couch to do anything. It's horrible! It makes me sad, mad, and angry at the same time. I feel so tired all the time, I feel like my kids deserve more and better which in turn makes me more than a bit depressed. I hope things get better for you, I'll keep you in my thoughts. Just wanted you to know you weren't the only one and to keep your chin up:)

Quoting Heidi:

Is it painful all the time? Is it worse after you eat? Is there anything that makes it better or worse? Any other symptoms except for the pain? I had pain after I ate that would start int he stomach and go into my back. It hurt so bad that I couldn't move, then I got cold, and was weak after it started easing up. My doctor thought that it was my gall bladder. I changed my eating habits and it's helped a lot.

It is painfull all the time, constant.  Not moving makes my stomache pain better but makes my back pain worse.   Eating really doesn't make it worse or better.  I don't  get cold or hot (unless it is hott lol but hey summer). But I do get bad heart burn if I eat certain things so I try to stay away from those.  I have tried changing my deit for that reasons, I am trying to stay away from beef, pork, tomatos, and certian veggies.

Other symptoms would be:

Tired with or without medicines

Some spotting which I have never done before

Headaches w/ throwing up

Brusing (I can count about 15 bruses right now)

Sex makes the belly pain worse

This one might not be a sympotm but my Dr thinks so - haven't been able to get pregnant

and almost like loss of balance (falling down alot)

Thanks for your relys!!!

I understand being sick and having problems with having a child. I have had thyroid problems for a long time and they seem to not be able to control it and don't know why. I have been sent to so many doctors and it gets frustrating not finding an answer. The hardest part is when I'm exhausted how tough it is to deal with my 20 month old. My thyroid got so bad that I couldn't stay up past 7:00 and could hardly wake up in the morning. For me it's finding hope and security in Christ that helps me continuing going. I hope that the doctors can find what's going on and I hope that you can hang in there....know that I understand how hard it can be.
