My daughter is 5 1/2 months and when she sees a regular cup she automatically brings it to her mouth and tips it. However she isn't holding her own bottle just yet so I'm not sure when I should try a sippy cup. She drinks a lot of water but usually just out of a bottle.

We introduced the sippy cup at 11 months, we started with formula in them since that was the only type of fluid she was interested in. We followed that by only giving her water in her regular bottles. It took maybe 4 days to get her off of the bottle completely. :) We were lucky, and I wish you luck!

My son is 10 months. I bottle broke him at 8 months. I started giving him a sippy cup with half juice half water during the day & just gave it to him one night with milk (formula) in it & he was bottle broke in 2 days it was awsome.

water at 6 months. My daughter was only given water or juice in the sippy until we started weaning her on to whole milk at 11 months. Then it was mixed formula and milk.

one, and half juice half water :) zander is now almost 3, and we're still struggling with the difference between hard sippys and soft top sippys. it just all depends on the kid i think. good luck.

Breastmilk-6months

But when he was about 3 months old I started letting him drink some from a small cup that I held.
