We finally had to get rid of all of her cups, she still has one for bedtime, but we are now only giving her that one when she asks for it. Otherwise she is now drinking out of regular cups. We try to only give her water all day and other things for meals, even though she really doesn't do the meal thing she's more of a snacker. Maybe take your son with you to pick out some fun cups or get him cups that are his favorite color.

Being strong on your end. Be firm and consistent with your rules. And have water in it when it's not time to have a drink. He won't like it but kids learn quickly.

I have the same problem with my son wanting fluids all day long. Just keep doing what you are doing slowly weening him and he will be better about it no time

I agree that you try just putting water in the cup.   I went through the same thing with my second son and his bottle.  I was crazy at times with him freaking out but with in a few days it was gone and done with.  Just keep your patience and with in a week he'll forget about dragging his cup around all day.  And encourage him to be a big boy and that big boys drink out of big boy cups.

Try putting water in the cup and try offering him a regular cup. try not to give him a cup between meals and he might have to pitch a fit for a little while if you can handle it I would say go for it. Good luck.
