Maddy is 7 months old and has a great sleep schedule...she sleeps threw the night and takes her two naps a day with very little fight. Most days we get up at 8 in the morning, nap at 10 and nap at 2. Every now and then she wakes up at 7 or wakes up at 9. On these days should i keep her at the same time for naps or adjust the time by the time she woke up? (like if she wakes up at 9 we nap at 11 and 3 instead?)

if my 1 year old wakes up earlier or later than ususal i try to get him back to normal times straight away, because i want him to go to bed at night at the same time-no later! x x

I always tried to keep the naps and feedings at the same time with my daughter. If you see that she is tired at 11 after waking up at 9 then go ahead and lay her down. My daughter is 16 months not and usually wakes up at 9 every morning. So for nap we lay her down between 11:30 and 12 and she eats afterwards or we're out and about we let her eat first and then she'll take a nap around 2 or so. You really just have to leave it up to your daughter. If she's really cranky and it's not nap time yet go ahead and lay her down and adjust until the day's over. There's always a tomorrow.

My son is now 1year and nine months(started the schedule when he was 6 months) and he is STILL on the schedule. It is great. He gets up around 9am, ready for a nap around 1pm. Sleeps for about two hours or more and then heads off to bed arounf 8:30PM. Schedules are a must have!!! I have put my five month old on the same schedule....Mommies need a break too!!!

Thats what I did and still do with my daughter (11mo), the only time I brake the schedule is if it will effect the bed time schedule(going to bed for the night at 7-7:30) then I will try to keep her up as long as possible as long as shes not suffering from being too tired. great job though schedules are sooooooooo nice for us moms!!!
