My baby didnt sleep through the night consistantly until he was 10 months. I was very determined however to keep the rutine the same EVERY night.. and its now paid off. I know it can be tempting to just give in, get them up.. etc but in a couple of months he'll be sleeping through, you'll see. At 7 months old too, he could be genuinely hungry. Babies go through big growth spurts and hunger pains could be waking him; but as a mum you know the different "cries" your child has so be decerning:)

Hi, how are you? My son used to be the same way. He mixed up his days and nights But I was unable to sleep during the day then would be up all night.. HORRIBLRE!! But what helped me was about 30 minutes before I was ready to put him down I gave him a nice lukewarm bath and right afterwards warm milk. I ALWAYS used that gas relif stuff just incase he might get colic through the night. He would always fall asleep right in my arms. I would let him sleep about 5 minutes and the put him in his crib. He would wake up and cry a little bit but because he was so relaexed from the bath and full from the bottle, he would usually fall asleep about 5-10 minutes later.

The warm water is like us when we take a bath. Very relaxing and then the ful stomach is like us on thanks giving!! FOOD COMAS!!! LOL Try it once or twice. It just might work. It definitly worked for me!!

hiya. im an expecting mum but have worked in a nursery and as a nanny for years, in my opion and from experience i feel it is best to try and get your children to go to sleep in there cot on there own, leaving them in there cot for 10-20 mins usually works, they will cry to begin with ( obviously i wouldnt leave the child distresssed tho! ) but eventually they will realise they are there to sleep and will hopefully fall asleep on there own, if after this time there still awake pick them up for a cuddle and try again, 7 months is a good time to introduce this but will take lots of persaviering, it will make your life easier in the long run though!

have you put him onto solid foods yet? if you have not this may be why he wakes so often in the night, he may just have a large appitite and need something more filling to manage to sleep through. Hope this helps!
