Oh mine to!! We had just given up on swaddling her..... but we kept trying it and eventually it started working (I don't think I was doing it tight enough). Also... I know everyone says it's a big nono but the only way our baby girl would sleep was on her tummy... and she is absolutely fine. My sister in law said her doctor told her it was ok to do that...... the sids rules change all the time and to put them down the way they like. So she's been sleeping on her tummy pretty much since she was 6 wks. and she sleeps all night every night.

My baby girl is about 18 wks now. I breastfed so I would sleep with her on my chest all the time ... or beside me in the pack n play. But I ended up figuring out at about 5 wks old that if I wrapped her up really tight in a swaddler, put a paci in her mouth, and rocked her to sleep she would let me put her down. But I would keep her in contact with my body as long as I could while setting her down. She would still wake up shortly for the first week or so after... you just have to be persistent with her and she will adjust. You're still gonna face some sleepless nights for a little while, but by 7 wks. she was sleeping 8-10 hrs. straight through the night in her crib and has been ever since! Also, my hubby smokes so I did a lot of research on it and even when you're holding her if you can smell the cigarettes on your clothes or hair that's not good for them either. I didn't smoke while I was pregnant but when she was about 3 months I started picking it back up and just ended up giving it back up because I got tired of changing clothes and brushing my teeth every 10 min.! Good luck with everything and congratulations!! :) :)
