Hello, my six month old daughter was sleeping though the night and then something derailed that. I believe she is teething and this is what is waking her up, however someone told me that the teething pain is not enough to wake her up, it must be something else. She does have acid reflux, which she is on medication for already, perhaps she is not being satisfied with the amount of food she is eating and is waking up because she is hungry. Any suggestions to help my daughter, who is waking up ever one to two hours, to get a much more restful sleep.

HI Heather, I am Heather too! I have two kids who are 2 and 4 now. I had my younger sleeping through the night from 3 monthes to 9 monthes and we haven't ever been able to get back to full night sleep on a reliable basis. I just took him to the doctor and we are trying to get his allergy issues worked out. He has trouble breathing at night cause he is so congested. I just started him on three different meds, but my advice is try to get to the bottom of this with your pediatrician. They can help figure out what might be happening. If your ped doesn't really look into this then you might want to look for another Dr. that will. It is certainly worth it and I hate to say it, but it could be anything. Let know if you want to talk more :-)
