try a swaddle blanket! it will hopefully make her feel all safe and secure and it helped my two sleep really well! best of luck! :)

Hi, I'm a mother of 4 boys (born 2003,2004, 2006, 2007) I used to use the receiving blanket and wrap them in it, then use another one and wrap them in it again. I would do that during the night and let him nap on their own as well. Make sure you don't let the family or friends pick up and hold your baby when they sleep either. If it happens that she falls asleep when you (or someib\ne )is holding her talke her to bed immediatly . Be consistant now, it will help later on.

I know this is controversial, but it really helped my daughter sleep in her crib. I put her on her tummy. My daughter would startle in her sleep and wake herself up by hitting herself in the face when she slept on her back or side. I flipped her to her belly, against all medical advice (I figured she can turn her head to each side, she's fine) and she slept for 7 hours! It worked wonders for me! She's 7 months now and ALWAYS sleeps on her belly and she can roll both ways. Good luck!

My peditrician advised against letting her cry it out until they are at least 6 months old, because before then they need night feedings and the security to know that you will be there.

I just started putting my daughter in her crib at night. I nurse her till she is out then put her down to sleep. The doctor also recommended putting a piece of clothing in the crib that you have been wearing. The smell of you is sopposed to make them feel safe. When I put her down to sleep if she starts to wake up I keep my hands on her sides or her chest until she goes back to sleep. The worst part is knowing that she will sleep through the night in bed with me but still wakes up every two hours when she is in her crib.

my son slept with me until he was 7 months old. my boyfriend hated it but i grew accustomed to it. then i finally made the decision to stop. you really just have to let her cry it out! start with letting her cry for 5 min then check on her then wait 10 min and so on. it will take a good week for her to get used to it and she may never stop crying herself to sleep, but believe me it is worth it!!! the sooner she gets out of your bed the better!!! if you sleep with her all the time you will never have time for yourself!! i tried to pull my son into bed with me the other night and he couldnt sleep i was kind of upset. haha one more thing if you are letting her take naps with you during the day, stop now she has to sleep in her bed at all times in order for her to do it at night!!
