My Eldest used to do this from 1 till 2 years old and she just grew out off it, I said to her "no, thats Naughty" and put her in the corner for 5minutes and she soon grew out of it

No need for doctor yet. My oldest went through this phase when she was about one where she would sit for ages just banging her head against the wall and then laughed about it. i took her to the doctor because i thought it was pretty strange and he just said not to worry, she will grow out of it!!

with my daughter i learned fast that she is going to fall down and bang her head so we always clapped and cheered her on so she wouldnt be so scared she now is 2 and loves to run around banging her head on things just to get ppl to laugh and have fun. But when she gets hurt she lets us know. its all a matter of how you look at it. if your really worried about it you can always ask her dr. what they think.

I can't tell you if it is normal or not, but my son does it all the time. Sometimes he does if for attention because he knows I am watching. Than there are times where he will just do it to do it. He laughs about it and seems fine, so I am not worried about it. LOL

i wouldn't worry about it (as long as she isn't seriously hurting herself).
my son went thru a phase like that was well, no harm done. he's got a great big/thick german skull lol

haha my youngest does this. She falls and mostly has no reaction, unless she is really hurt. I think it's great cause my oldest is quite the big baby when it comes to this. She cries over everything. I think it's the difference in the way that I reacted when they fell. I babied the first one but by the time i got to the second I knew she wouldn't break easily. The only thing I would be worried about it if she is visibly hurt and doesn't react. At that point it's time to go to the doctor but otherwise, consider yourself lucky.
