aww thanks! I'm just living it right now. I went from a 21 year old happily married chick with a hubby who worked 12 hours a day 3 days a week so I had LOTS of alone time, to a new mom about a 1 week ago. So I can certainlly say what I'm missing. Excuse the typeos still learning this whole One handed thing :-D

Great suggestions. I would suggest SLEEP!! As much as you can and whenever you can :) Mostly just enjoy doing things you want to do. I like Christy's post.

Get all the laundry done now. Don't be too anal about folding clothes cause after the baby comes you probably won't care/have time. Get a pedicure! Have lots of sex (if you're allowed to by your OB or mid wife) and don't freak out about labor. It's not that bad (I did it without any pain meds AND they gave me high doses of pitocin) and it's over before you know it. Good luck and congrats! :)

Right now you are likely paniced about getting everything little thing done before baby gets here. The babys room, clothing sorted etc. Make a point to take time each day to just do things for you. Sit down and watch a movie, cuddle on the couch take a 2 hour bath, etc.

You won't believe how much you'll miss simple things like that in the first weeks, and you'll appreaicate having done them before he or she gets here.

Also a little pampering like a pedicure never hurt.

oh and the one you'll hear twenty times SLEEP NOW.
