I know how to feel, and it is hard. My two year old still wanted a bottle because her baby brother had one, and I just had to cut it off. I threw all of her bottles aways, bought her pretty sippy cups, put her in the toddler bed, and let her cry it out for a while, until she got use to it. You have to think of it this way, it will be hard, but the sooner you do it, the less likely he will remember having the stuff taken away. It took months of my daughter stealing the bottles from the baby, but she now doesn't want it at all, she knows that it's for babies only. As far as the potty trainging, I have no advice for thiat, I'm in a pickle with that as well.

Thanku for responding i think i do have to start laying down the rules and not babying him as much. He's the only child right now and he doesn't even belong to a playgroup his father and mother is all he has.We just got a cat so hopefully he'll be more like a kid and not a 1 yr old.
