Since the birth of my son I suffer from stress incontinence... I leak when I cough, sneeze, jump on the trampoline or even just walk around. It is so embarrassing to wear pads all the time as a young woman (20 years old).
Are there other young women with the same problem? Any experiences? I feel so alone with my leakage....

Hello Jenny. You're totally normal! Clinicians estimate that a third of new mums will suffer like you - and it gets worse with age. By the time women reach menopause over half of women have the problem because muscles weakened by childbirth just get slacker after menopause. A recent survey here in the UK found that half of new mums had embarrassing leaks and the effect on your sex life can be even more traumatic. We can't put links into this forum but search for betterkegelexercises on the web or search facebook for thepelvictoner. You'll find that effective help is close at hand. Good luck PS Please like our facebook page and pass it on to all your friends

Do your pelvic floor muscles (your kegals) to help stop this and go see your doctor no woman should have to put up with stress incontinence in today's day and age, they will be able to help you so you can live your life without embarrassment. You'll probably find there's a really easy solution to it too!
