stressed and lonely

am a single mum (dad still sees little one) who has just moved house to a new area(bartley green) is lonely as dont no anyone around here and son is actting up. have had bad behavoiur from thinks may be due 2

I would guess that you are right about the move causing the acting out behavior. Children thrive in consistent environments that are predictable and consistent. I am agree with the other moms that getting out and meeting new people will help. However, also focus on keeping home structured, consistent, and loving for him. Home will need to be his safe zone in a scaring new area (which may be how he sees it). Hope this helps

Hey claire. I know how it feels not to know anyone and in a new place. Joanne is right though you need to get out it helps me out a lot. Sometimes I have to force myself to get out and do somethings. Go to the park, swimming, or find some activities the town is holding for mothers and their children. It would be good for you you both.

have you tried to see if there are any activites going on in your area that you and your children can get yourselves involved in so that you can start interacting with other people in your neighbourhood and maybe he will calm down cause its a new but also a strange place for him to be in and hes scared cause he dont know anyone there
