Hi im a single mom that is having a hard time finding work. I have a shoulder injury that makes things even more difficult on top of trying to finish school so that I am able to get a job that pays the bills and childcare. Does anyone have any ideas?? I have a lovely active 3yr old daughter which I love to spend my days with, however im stuck otherwise. I wish there was a perfect answer!

well im sure u are doing a great job no matter what.. u look so sad in ur picture.. try to smile :-) is the father paying child support to u to help with ur daughter? keep strong and i dont know how u would go about finding a job but if u have any government funded things in ur state go and talk to them because im sure they'll be able to help you. :-)

This is going to sound crazy as I'm uncertain where you are and what you are in school for...perhaps if you give us a little bit more on your situation? One major thing that I think students don't necessarily think of are those untapped bursaries and scholarships...seriously, if you rack up five $200 bursaries that not a lot of people apply to that is $1000 for school that you don't have to pay back.

Maybe a daycare if you did not have to lift the children? If you took your daughter to the same daycare they usually give you a discount on child care. Also if you worked with older children there shouldn't be any reason you would need to be lifting them. Just an idea!

it is definately hard finding a job right now and it sucks that your shoulder is injured. if you have any experience in secretarial work, try to find something there. even if you don't i am sure you can find a place that will show you. it's not that hard of a job and you get to sit. also, are you on any kind of help through your state?? if not, you can get health insurance, they can help pay for tuition to school, you can get help with daycare and try temp agency's, also they can help by giving you food stamps as well. good luck :)
