HI my name is Cassie and I'm a new mom , I breast feed all the way till now , but I know I can switch him to whole ,ilk I just don't know how to go about it really?? My son is 13 months old and he still sleeps with my husband and I , and he loves drinking boobie milk so much I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to wing him. He takes to a bottle of Whole Milk at times , but when he's really tired , or he gets hurt he clings to my breast and he won't have anything else or it a terrible crying match.... PLease help me and give me a few ideas I'm so lost.....????

You could try mixing your breast milk with whole milk and keep adding more and more whole milk. You could also try another type of soother for when he's really cranky or tired. My daughter loves these little blankie animals or just a blankie. She will suck on it and it will calm her almost instantly.

Just slowly wean him. Replace a breast feeding with a bottle (or sippy cup) feeding. He'll get the hang of it. Stick with it. Good luck.

im in the same boat you are. my daughter will be a year on the 26th and all she knows is my breastmilk lol. she'll take sips of formula and reg milk but only when i go to work and even then when i get home she's stuck to me. i have no idea how to get it going. is your son really attached to you as well? she sleeps with me still too!
