teaching letters

I need some ideas of creative ways to teach my 4 year old his lowercase letters and the letter sounds. He does well recognizing the uppercase letters, but is having a problem with some of the lowercase letters and alot of the sounds. He is in speech therapy in preschool so I realize there may be some problems learning some of the sounds. If anyone has any ideas on how to help him learn the letters and sounds I would greatly appreciate it.

They have an alphabet toy that goes on the fridge. When you stick the letter in it, it sings a song about the sound that it makes. For the letters, try making up flash cards with just lowercase letters or with lowercase on one side and uppercase on the other. I do not have any kids that age yet, but it is something that I do with my 3 year old. Hope it helps.
