I have a 5 month old who has his first tooth teeth coming in. When do you start brushing these teeth? Any suggestions would be helpful!

Definately start brushing your babies teeth right away. My girlie cut her first 2 teeth right at 4 mo's. I used the finger tooth brush until she started biting more. If you use tooth paste make sure it's infant. They usually have this in the baby section & also by the toothpaste. Good luck...hope teething goes well for baby & mommy!

There is this finger toothbrush, its rubber and it fits on your finger and you can put baby einstein toothpaste on it or just use water and just massage the gums. I started this with my son at 1 month old, you can never bee too clean with your baby and my doctor told me that you should clean baby's gums every night because of the sugars in milk and baby food! My son loved this finger toothbrush and still does but unfortunatley you have to switch to a tooth brush when they get teeth because they bite! lol
Hope helped hun!

there is a tooth and gum cleaner out...instead of a toothbrush, you put on your finger and rub against the gums. I loved it. Usually in drug stores.
