So, I know someone has posted about this before but I don't feel like searching for the thread.

I've noticed the last couple of days my daughter has been grinding her teeth and I HATE it (she's 14mo). Any ideas on what I can do to get her to stop?

I agree! And actually I am also guilty of doing the same thing. When I get tense or angry I grind them and bite down really hard. My teeth are already weak so this does not help.

Yea, my main thing is that I know it isn't good for your teeth... and my mom does it (subconsciously) and I'm concerned that is what is going to happen with Evelyn. She has 4 molars, 4 top teeth, and 3 bottom teeth (with a 4th coming in). I'm not sure if she has any other molars trying to come in but ugh... the sound of her teeth grinding together (the molars that she does have) is driving me totally crazy! It sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me and I HATE that sound.

It's most likely because of teething, I'd try some teething tablets or they have the same kind of thing in a liquid form (I can only find it at Super Target) or some baby medicine. Mine would do it, but then she ended up stopping on her own. I know how frustrating it is! Hang in there!
