My son got the most comfort from an ice cube. We bought a self-feeder for fruit (just mesh with a ring that's easy to hold on to). When he was in a lot of pain, we would put an ice cube in it and let him chew on that. It numbs the gums and babies in a better mood for a little while. Just keep a towel under his chin cause it will soak his shirt.

I always gave mine some Motrin before I put her to bed. I found it worked better than Tylenol because it's an anti-inflammatory and helps the swelling in the gums. I tried the homeopathic teething tablets and they didn't seem to do much for her either...Motrin was the tried and true helper for me. I hope Noah (and you) feel better soon!

Have you tried orajel? Rub that on his gums and it will help. Also make sure you have lots of teething toys for him to chew on. If his teeth are really seeming to bother him then you can also give him some tylenol. I also gave my kids biter biscuits, they're in the baby aisle. They're really messy but babies love them and it helps, just watch him while he's eating it to make sure he doesn't bite a piece off and choke. Hope that helps.... :)
