I was at Chuckie Cheese with my daughter Kailey and I wanted to take one of those pictures that draws you on the screen, with her. She agreed at first but once we sat down it was a whole other story, she jumped up ans started screaming saying she didn't want to. Well I had already put in the money and it as counting down to take the picture so tried begging her to sit still. She stood tall on the bench while I sat there pleading and everyone around looking at us, She then yelled "Mama GET OFF ME!!" well this totally caught me by surprise since she still doesn't speak as clearly as that came out, I was shocked. What was more shocking was the picture taken of my daughter yelling at me and the look on my face as she did. A moment I will be forced to remember forever! I hope I'm not the only one with stories like this. =(

Don't worry about what people say! I would have told that lady to mind her own business! It is very embarrassing to have people watch as your child act out, and you already feel bad enough but for her to say something is just going too far! It's not up to her how much you want your kid to eat before she goes to play. Your kid is in a room full of fun and games, of course they're not going to want to eat.
I can see how you would feel upset, I'm right there with you. I try not to go out too much with the kids.

Yeah, it's hard to be in Public with them, lol. Well I'm glad to hear some one shares my pain, That day at Chukie Cheese this one lady kept looking over her booth at me almost monitoring what I was doing when I was trying to get my Daughter to eat and when she finally had a couple of bites to satify me I told her she could go play. This on looker then told me "Well she didn't eat the whole thing!" I was so upset!!! I'm trying to go out less now, lol, its so sad!

No you're definitely not the only one with stories like that. I spank my kids when I feel it is necessary but I try to do the time out thing more. I will never spank my kids in public though, because I just think that isn't right. Well, my son knows this. He knows that I'm not going to spank him in public, so every time we go out he acts horrible. He likes to run away from me and make me chase him, and just be loud and talk back to me. So I try to not go out in public too much with my son.
