My son is 6 months old and I'm wondering what Thanksgiving treats would be ok to give him? I know the usual, no dairy, nuts or honey. I was thinking of getting him a Jar of Turkey baby food but not sure. Any suggestions?

If he doesn't have any teeth then just the mushy stuff; mashed potatoes with gravy, the filling of the pumpkin pie, etc. He'll love it.

I took a baby food making class and the dietician says to start the baby on meat as soon as they turn 6 months. Let him enjoy a great thanksgiving meal

dont be afraid to try things my daughter was 6 months when she started eating the jar food meats, bt she has since then wanted to skip the whole baby food and just eat regualar finger foods with no teeth its the funniest thing i have seen, just try something before you have thanksgiving dinner and then you will know before that if he has an allergy to something so hes not having a reaction to something during thanksgiving dinner!

Nope no teeth yet. But my son just loves sweet potatoes. He'd eat nothing else if I let him. He gets them once a day before bed.

Mashed potatoes & gravy. Fruits! It's probably not time for the 'meats' yet. You can always ask your sons' Dr.
