The pill and becoming pregnant

The pill only has a realistic 92% effectiveness rate (perfect use is 99.3% effective, but perfect use is just about never done).
There are many women who get pregnant while on the pill. The pill, along with a barrier method (condom), is WAY more effective than just the pill alone.
As for the dangers of getting pregnant while on the pill, there appears to be no increase to risk to the fetus, even though it is recommended that you stop taking the pill if you suspect that you're pregnant, and switch to a non hormonal type of birth control (specifically condoms).
