THIRD CHILD ????

[deleted account] ( 3 moms have responded )

I have 2 children right now, 3 and 19 months, and when my youngest turns 2 I would like to try to have another one??? My question is.....is it harder to go from one to two children, or from two to three children?? I know it will be more work anyway you look at it, but so much changes once you have more than 2 children. Does anyone think of things like I do, like having to get a bigger vehicle, bigger table, someone will have to share a room, there is just so much to consider. I would just like to here some of your personal stories of going to three children.

I have three, ages 51/2, almost 4 and 10 weeks. I think going from 1 to 2 was so much harder than 2 to 3, but then again my first two were much closer in age to each other. And now my older two are best buds so do a great job keeping each other busy while I am busy with the new baby. They car issue has come up for us, we have a minivan but I want a AWD car, we live in NH, but I think we have that worked out too. Good luck, I think just do what works for your family. Now I couldn't imagine having two, it seems like we've always had 3.

Hi, I had one son for 8 years then had another son, followed by a daughter, followed by another daughter. so mine are 11, 3, 2, and 11 months. I absolutley dreaded it!!! However it was nowhere near as bad as i expected. We had to get rid of our sport car too and got a people carrier but shopped around a got something we really liked. The room sharing is inevitable too i was dreading putting my 2 yr old in with my oldest but just make sure the room is still suitable for the older one as well as child friendly for the younger. To be honest you will be surprised by the responce to the new arrival at first there maybe some jealousy but as time gos on keep including the other two and you will see a great bond with them all. Routine is also a massive factor. Good Luck you will be fine
