My daughters father just up and moved away without even saying a word. Him and I havent been together since my daughter was about 6 months shes 7 years old now. we had some what of a regular routine where every sunday she would spend time with him, his wife and other child. I am starting to have problems with my daughter she'sbecoming extremely attached to me and she keeps asking me when I drop her off at school if im coming back? Some days its even hard for me to leave the room. I mean her and I are super close but I dont want this whole situation to effect my daughter. I don't know what to do. I hope someone can help thanks!!!

This is such a hard one.You should call your daughters father and simply ask him if he plans on visiting his daughter regularly now.You didn't say how far away he moved,so it might still be possible that he will continue to visit. If he says yes and doesn't follow through that first time, then try to help your daughter move on.If he is gone for good,to her it might be like there was a death in her family.

Explain to her that you will never leave her and you will always be there when she needs you. If she starts asking question about her dad just be as honest as you can. If I doesn't get any better have a school consular to talk to her it might help. My dad left when I was really young and it really helped me talking to other people. Hope everything goes well.
