My 9 month old baby girl has had eczema since she was born. So I know what the dry patchy skin looks like. The other day she had tiny red bumps on her back, and there was a white dot in the middle. They went away a couple of days later and scabbed over. I took her to her Dr. and she wasn't really sure what they were either and told me to put cortizone cream on it for the next two weeks. Has anybody else had this problem before with their little one? I would really appreciate some feedback on this if you have had the same problem. Thanks:)

Did she just get her chickenpox vaccine? It could be a mild form of chicken pox.

Oh dear, has your child taken a sort of medication antibiotic? My daughter is going to be 2 and a month ago she took amoxicillin for the first time. We found out she is allergic to it. And it came out as a rash that looked liked targets. Like the iris of your eye. She was diagnosed with erythema multiforme minor. The major form is known as Steven Johnson syndrome. Anything could trigger this. The rash I mean. Her dr thought it could have been sunscreen that was expired. Whatever. But I would google that and if it sounds like something that may be it I would definitely consult your pediatrician about it. I'm not trying to scare you, but I was a wreck when I didn't know what was wrong with my daughter. Always a thought. I hope this helps. :)
