I have been told by my pedi that it was better not to put my kids in shoes untill after they are able to walk .. so both my girls when they were home and walking around they were bare foot.. they also both were able to walk without issue at right around nine months... dont worry about the tip toes I really havent seen a baby who doesnt do that..especially when they are furniture crusing.....

My daughter did that and my son occationally does that, he should be ok, my daughter is 5 now with no issues, and my son is, well almost 9 months but I dont worry. If you are worried talk to your dr. Dont pay a ton of money for shoes that he will grow out of in a month or you will be completely broke! Id you want him in shoes, get some of those knock off Robies or whatever they are, but in my opinion kids do not need shoes, but that is the moms choice and wont hurt them either way! I suggest talking to your dr that way you dont worry for no reason :)

Don't panic he will b fine, my son walked on his tiptoes when he first started walking around the furniture, U need to get him some shoes, when he is wearing shoes he should start walking with his feet flat on the floor. U must get him properly measured, it wont b cheap but u will have problems if you don't. If you r short of money get his feet measured, in england there is a lenght and width, u could then ask friends if they have any they could sell u or have a look on ebay u could get a real bargain. Good Luck.
