Well, this is a TMI post but I wanted to hear from other mamas out there to learn about others' exeperiences.

My ovulatory and menstrual cycles returned 3 months after giving birth to DD. I have noticed since then that they are very...well...nice to me. I don't get any bloating. No cramping. I do still get a headache the night before, but even that is reduced.

Did anyone else notice their cycles improving after childbirth? Did it stay that way, or is this simply an in between time b/c I am nursing DD and supressing the hormones?? I can't find any studies specific to post-partum RTF w/ AF and LPD cycles.

uggghhhh I just got my period back after over 2 YEARs... and it was HORRIBLE!!!!! Usually mine weren't THAT bad, but this one was the works; bloating, cramping, heavy, long-lasting... plus, about a week later I started spotting for a couple days!
What the heck!?!!

I had my son a little over 3 months ago and i am currently on my first period since then (making it almost a year to the day since my last one). i am no longer breastfeeding and at first (im sure this way tmi) everything down south was sore like when i was healing after the delivery. but now i dont have any bloating, cramps or headaches. my only real complaint is that it's been a full two weeks and it's just now about done (i am also on mirena and have been told that affects things too)
