transition from my bed to crib

My son is 7 months old and still sleeps with his mommy. I'm a stay at home mom n he already seems to have some attachment issues so I wonder if that alone is making the transition to his crib a difficult one. I'm ready to take my bed back. I tried leaving him n coming back every 5-10 mins. He's always fed first n sleepy. Still he won't budge. This goes on for a hour every night till I finally give in. He stands in his crib too so that doesn't help. I just don't know what to do. But I know this can't go on forever. Abby suggestions

Lol last night I finally got him to sleep in his own crib in his own room! It only lasted from 10pm to1am. I figure as he gets used to it more n motr it will last longer. I just stayed in his room n comforted him with my hand on him like u said. It took about a hour. I might try the play pen in my room first now that I know even the crib can be doable then transition to crib once he's used to not sleeping side by side with me

Hi my son is not as old as yours he doesn't stand yet so I guess it's a little different lol but my son is 5 months old n he did the same thing always wanted to sleep with mommy n daddy since he was born lol we put his playpen/bassinet next to our bed and out him in there he will scream for about a hour sometimes more but the dr said to put ur hand on him let him know ur there but let him fuss if u try to soothe him with ur voice he will just want to be picked up lol I know its hard to listen to our babies cry but if u give In ur son will sleep with u till he's almost a teen lol
